What this neighborhood has needed for years--affordable, delicious food in a place that makes this part of town feel like a neighborhood again. Take yourself there, a date there, take a crowd there... it works for everything

It's slow-food approved, Greenmarket-driven fare with a traditionalist americana vibe, which isn't ground breaking..but when was the last time you knew of a place around here that could always seat a party of 10, fill you for $30, and served food worthy of eating (and writing about)?
