Old Town's been here since 1892. Any bar that's been here that long either sucks (McSorley's) or is crumbling to the ground, and presently closed (Chumley's). 

Old Town also as majestic as you get for the old-school set. Magestic like when you look up when around this neighborhood, and realize everything in this city used to be beautiful.

It's also a perfect place to be, eat, and drink as long as you avoid the brief sludge of clamoring post-9-to-5ers. Even then it's jovial, but anytime before 5 the bar's yours...
